Just wondering if anyone could offer any advice here. I have a Corega WLBAR-AG router. The iMac is connected via ethernet cable. Speed is fast. My and my partner's laptops are connecting wirelessly. Wireless Router Setup ScreenToshiba Forums. COREGA routers are packed with many features. COREGA has been manufacturing network devices for years improving online experience of the millions of users like you. COREGA Home Hub is a family of wireless residential gateway router modems. She has a Vaio Windows PC, I have a MacBookPro. The problem is that the wireless connections keep dropping out. The Vaio is ok maybe 95% of the time, but the MacBookPro only about 20% of the time. The signal strength is good (always maximum strength signal) but the connection keeps dropping. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Restarting the computer, or router doesn't seem to consistently help (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't). Even when the wireless connections work, the speed is very slow, web pages take seconds to load for example. The problem is definitely with the router setup - both computers work at high speeds with no connection problems on other wireless networks. Trouble is the router is configured in Japanese, with no English manuals, no English firmware updates available, and so I have absolutely no idea how to fix it. The router cost over 20,000 so I don't want to just buy another.
